This year at Havas Lynx Group, we’ve continued our strong commitment to wellness. We celebrated many different events throughout the year including Time to Talk Day, Stress Awareness Month, Mental Health Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day. As part of our holistic approach to wellness, we also celebrated World Sleep Day and Healthy Eating Week.
Some of the activities we enjoyed were a series of nutrition workshops; the aim was to further understand the importance of nutrition and the benefits this can have on wellbeing. We also launched our herb garden so our people could easily access and enjoy fresh herbs and fruits.
For work-life balance we introduced a Digital Detox where we switched off emails outside of work hours and we challenged our teams to a 5:30 dash, encouraging everyone to get out of the door on time. This in addition to various talks on mental health awareness and stress management techniques, plus our Wellness Wednesdays sports club and Crafternoons has kept our wellness calendar full.
The impact across the agency has been incredible and we’ve had some brilliant feedback that’s helped us steer the focus for 2020. Next year we’ll continue to raise awareness and will encourage wellness to be a part of our every-day lives. Watch this space for some exciting stuff!
