Education
At Lynx, we believe education is a gift that everyone should have. In October, we were incredibly lucky to visit one of our core charities, Born to Thrive, in Rwanda and see first-hand the impact education can have on a child and their community. Because of this, it is with pride that we announce our 2015 Christmas campaign to further support Born to Thrive, and help to build a new classroom for the school we visited: Little Angels School in Mbyo, Reconciliation Village, Rwanda.

Inspiration, hope, opportunity
At present, the Little Angels School in Rwanda only has the facilities to teach children up to the age of 8. Building a new classroom would enable them to teach students for a further year, and ideally, a further three classrooms would allow them to finish their primary education. The classrooms are in progress, but without essential funds, won’t be able to be completed. This Christmas, we’re hoping to raise enough money to complete at least one classroom – but it would be incredible if we could help finish building all three. By building these new classrooms, we will help to provide the opportunities these ambitious young people so deserve; helping them overcome their challenging circumstances and create a fantastic change in their community.

Boosting Born to Thrive
As part of our commitment to the charity, the staff of Havas Lynx have worked hard in our free time over the last few months to create a bold new brand for the charity, a brand new website and a robust strategy for communications and social media. You can see the new website here. All to help the charity amplify their message, reach a wider audience and collect more donations to help more children. For a Merry Christmas
Last Christmas, when we first designated Born to Thrive our charity to support, we smashed our targets and raised enough money to give 42 children the Christmas gift of a year of schooling. This Christmas, we’re going one step further. We want to help build at least one new classroom at the Little Angels School. This means we have two weeks to raise at least £4,000. It’s our goal to ensure the amazing children we met have the opportunity for a great education.
