#LYNXLife looking after your mind body and soul

Blog

#LYNXLife is a unique initiative that aims to reward hard work, reduce pressures and ensures that everyone can enjoy their time at Lynx. Each quarter we produce a newspaper to detail everything #LYNXLife related from the last few months. This quarter we have released our #LYNXLife wellness edition to update the team on our CSR activity, what’s going on in relation to sports & wellbeing and some updates & reminders of what the team can benefit from across #LYNXLife. Enjoy!

Spring is almost here, and with it is some new updates to #LYNXLife.

As we are a growing agency, there’s an awful lot happening all the time at the Havas Lynx Group. From CSR, meditation, award wins, running up towers, running club, yoga, touch rugby – we have it all.

To make it as easy as possible for our employees to take advantage of all the activities available and to keep up-to-date with what’s going on, we wanted to put everything in one place.

The #LYNXLife newspaper contains some really exciting updates – inside there is a full CSR update, a section on what’s been going on across the business along with a full sports and wellbeing update with activities on offer for both London & Manchester.

One of our core CSR objectives this year is to reduce the amount of single-use plastics we use. Our Head of Sports and Wellbeing, Ambi Swindells, recently made the switch from plastic to glass milk bottles and by doing so, we’ve estimated a saving of 8,000 plastic bottles in just one year! So today, as well as the newspaper, each member of the Lynx team has received a reusable water bottle.

The Lynx reusable bottle has been produced to continue the reduction of our use of single-use plastics across the business. It has been estimated that each plastic bottle can take 450 years to biodegrade, and that’s frightening when you consider that over one million plastic bottles are sold globally every single minute. It may seem like a small action, but if nearly 300 people all used their reusable bottle instead of a single-use plastic, that’s a huge impact on our environment, creating a lot less waste.

As always, we are working to improve the everyday environment for everyone here at Lynx, so have a read through the paper and enjoy!

You can access this month’s newspaper here.

Thanks,
