Our role 

Resource and Traffic Manager is the key internal liaison for the agency, working across internal teams to prioritise and allocate all projects.

This role works closely with Projects and Account Directors, Developers, QA and Testers to ensure the team is adequately resourced with the required time to produce their best work.
Fast paced environment with reactive needs, this role is essential in the day to day running of the agency and essential in the desire to be proactive and focus on future planning.

Requirements:

  • Agency background (but does not need to be HealthCare), Digital Project Manager or Traffic/Resource Manager
  • Resource planning and management
  • Jira ideal or another major scheduling tool
  • Veeva (or Salesforce)
  • Aptitude with assessing quotes/estimates and judging accurate timings and challenging where necessary
  • Strong people management, confident approach
  • Organised, multitasking, attention to detail
  • Problem solving, negotiation and reaching a compromise while remaining neutral
  • Solutions-driven attitude is essential
  • Proactive planner thinking ahead of the current day to reduce overload and challenges
  • Passionate about delivering the best possible work for our clients but focussed on protecting staff time and agency costs

Role And Responsibilities

  • Reviewing all resource requirements
  • Advises the senior teams on any skills shortages
  • Work with Project teams to prioritise resource requests
  • Assign work according to skill and availability, to ensure best-quality output
  • Align with Account Directors and Head of Departments to plan the pipeline and avoid resource blocks.
  • Chase and scrutinise briefs, ensuring all essential information is complete to enable the team to immediately get started
  • Ensure resources are assigned in the correct manner, right people at the right time to get the job done.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to ensure planned work is organised and team is accountable for their workload

The role of Senior Operations Manager will be the centre of the team – a driven, interested, motivated person who can drive collaboration/relationships and be a positive influence. A true people person who can get on with many different personality types

We are looking for someone with existing operational management experience within a creative agency, someone who has a proven track record of delivering and driving success – where success is gauged both creatively and commercially.

Role responsibilities

  • You will take the time to understand the workings of the team and wider agency in order to prioritise work accordingly - scheduling work effectively rather than rigidly
  • You will continually assess current ways of working to improve processes (briefings, reviews, delivery) and driving commercial and creative success
  • You will be able to manage a high volume of spinning plates - without spinning! Prioritising based on a need to deliver everything seamlessly throughout the team
  • You will have proven financial management skills – from the perspective of finance being a huge part of driving the operational plan, rather than as a separate discipline
  • You will be integral to taking SoW’s and ensuring appropriate resourcing
  • You will be involved in client status calls where necessary - understanding first-hand how schedules will need to change and supporting the team to make this happen internally
  • You will be the owner of 3rd party relationships to 'make things happen,' involving the correct people throughout. This could be on all nature of projects – photoshoots, illustration projects, digital development projects etc.
  • You will be a confident communicator – understanding that clear communications and trusted relationships across the agency are key to our success, not shy of an opinion and challenging where appropriate.
