Our Role

An integral member of the Havas Lynx Group (HLG) Growth Team. Owns purposeful growth and assigned business development across HLG to drive high quality and consistent Growth offering across the group.

Role responsibilites

  • Carry through the vision and approach of the HLG Growth team to the agency level to support a culture of winning pitches and proposals
  • Own RFI and Proposal development for assigned opportunities
  • Support Go/No-Go process when determining agency response to pitches, including conducting early bench research to qualify opportunities
  • Push thinking on agency differentiation and experience impact throughout BD process:
    • Confirm right resources are in place / are engaged appropriately
    • Help pitch lead to identify approach and guide story and presentation development
    • Provide feedback and guidance to strengthen presentation: push to elevate the quality of each and every engagement
    • Attend rehearsals for pitches to coach on red-thread story, presentation style, and facilitate Q&A brainstorming
    • Fulfill the same role on multi-agency pitches as needed
  • Own pitch and post-mortem process for assigned opportunities
  • Partner with Chief Growth Officer and Partnership Director for pitch training initiatives
  • Own ad-hoc Growth Team initiatives as required
  • Partner with Chief Growth Officer and Partnership Director for Growth planning workstreams with agency leadership, maintain ongoing dialogue and drive follow up on individual basis
  • Own data-collection on pitch performance for assigned agencies and partner with Chief Growth Officer to develop and implement recommendations to improve performance
  • Support agency-level marketing efforts as needed in conjunction with the marketing team (i.e. social media, thought leadership publication etc.)
  • Support and help drive core capes presentation development/refinement
  • Own the Library, Briefcase and other key growth resources
  • Work closely with Growth Executives to prioritise workload, delegate effectively and ensure resources are high quality and current
  • Develop and implement recommendations to strengthen Growth team offering
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration across disciplines, markets, agencies 
  • Stay current on important industry trends, agency competitive set, and product categories
  • Ability to influence across all levels
  • Display the utmost attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and requests, especially as pitch timing and priorities shift

Your experience 

  • 4+ years of advertising/marketing/communications experience
    • Preferably with a combination of business development, account and/or strategy and ideally experience with professional and consumer/patient
    • Strong history of successful pitching
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare marketing
  • Strong organizational capabilities, persistence, responsiveness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (external and internal)
  • Excellent management and oral/written communication skills
  • Excellent PPT/Keynote skills
  • Excel, Indesign, Sketch skills a plus
  • Proactive mindset

HR Administrator

Havas Lynx Group is a global healthcare communications agency with offices in Manchester and London. We’re 500+ people strong and are looking for a HR Administrator to join the HR Team; which is based in our Manchester head office. Once hired, this person will help us continue to deliver an excellent level of service to our growing agency.

We are happy to be seeking an Apprentice HR Administrator who, as part of this, will study towards a HR Support (Level 3) apprentice qualification. Full training and support will be provided on the job, as we really believe in investing in talent and ensuring people are consistently adding to their experience and skill set.

In this position you will work closely with the HR Team to provide administrative support on a day to day basis, gaining exposure to the company’s core operations. You’ll be given plenty of support meaning you’ll quickly become a key member of the group, undertaking typical tasks such as the following:

  • Proactive management of our people software systems
  • Providing administrative support in cases for individuals e.g. writing letters and other confidential documents
  • Managing the administration of performance review meetings
  • Tracking team absence and running the return to work system
  • Reporting on HR metrics
  • Supporting on day to day queries about HR-related issues

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade 4/C or above or level 2 equivalent including Maths and English as well as a passion for commencing a career in Human Resources. We’re looking for a team player who is able to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to manage their own time in a busy, varied role. In return, we’re rapidly growing and this position offers plentiful opportunity to develop your skillset and progress.

Our role

The role of Executive Assistant will support and help with the smooth running of the Manchester team and office. You will report into the Head of Travel, Events and Executive Support, helping to organise calendars, meetings, and events; whilst supporting with administration tasks for the wider team. By nature, you will cope well under pressure, you will adapt to change easily, have a keen eye for detail and be exceptionally good with people You will have an upbeat demeanour and always have a glass-half-full view.

Role responsibilities

  • You will manage the diaries for the senior team and others as required. Proactively managing priorities and clashes and finding solutions to suit everyone in all circumstances.
  • You will help prepare for and attend meetings, capturing minutes and following up on decisions and actions.
  • You will provide effective project management support to ensure timelines and outcomes are met.
  • You will be responsible for travel arrangements for the team, covering diary management, cost efficiency and report analysis for continual improvement.
  • You will coordinate and help plan for events and meetings organisation.
  • You will greet and be the host for all visitors and guests, considering what each person will need to ensure they have the best experience. 
  • You will handle expenses for the team – monthly processing of personal payments and corporate cards for the senior team.
  • You will assist the Leadership Team with ensuring team Time Sheets are completed in a timely manner.
  • You will support with HR activities in conjunction with the HR team.

Your experience

  • At least 2 years supporting at an executive level
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to use own initiative
